The Northern Gulf region is a special place….including magnificent river systems which start their journey in the World Heritage listed wet tropical rainforests to the east of the region, flowing over the woodland escarpments of the Einasleigh uplands, meandering through the rich grasslands of the dry tropical savanna to ultimately flow to the shallow seas of the Gulf of Carpentaria.
